There has never been a rule at Thorn & Thunder stating that our jewellery is only for women. We have always known that bold design, quality materials, and pieces that mean something have no gender. What we didn’t expect was how quickly the people wearing our jewellery would prove that point.
These are some of their stories.
The Friend
This one wasn’t planned, at all.
A close friend of our founder saw the Midnight Thorn Large Pendant and simply had to have it. No shoot, no styling, no persuasion needed. It was simply one of those "that's mine" moments.
That's kind of the magic of it.
He loves how easy it is to make it his own. The pendant goes onto different chains, so it changes with his mood, his outfit, or wherever the day (or night) is taking him. Sometimes understated, sometimes a little bolder. The same piece, endlessly reimagined.

The Market Customer
We met him at a market. His mother and wife spotted the Midnight Thorn Statement Pendant first, then brought him back to take a look. The rest is history.

The Cousins
This is our favourite story from the whole year.
Two male cousins came to one of our markets together. They found the Wild Thorn Huggies, picked them up, looked at each other, and bought a pair. They stood there for a moment, then each put one in. They walked away wearing one each, delighted with themselves.
That moment, that quiet, unplanned, perfect moment, made the whole day. No hesitation, no second-guessing, no asking whether it was the kind of thing they were supposed to wear. Just two people who saw something they liked and went for it.
That is what Thorn & Thunder is for.
A note on How we work
Every piece that leaves us is followed up on. We check in with our customers because we genuinely care whether they love what they bought and because the relationship does not end at the checkout. It never has. The stories above are not exceptions to how we do things. They are the norm.
